Help us to support nurses and midwives who care for you.

As a charitable organisation, we rely on donations and sponsors to help us to deliver our promise:

  • Select the very best talent in nursing and midwifery as scholars of the Foundation. Through our bespoke scholarship programmes, we will inspire, nurture and support their future success. Our programmes are designed with, and delivered by, our partners within and outside of health and social care.
  • Connect nurses and midwives to become the positive voice for nursing and midwifery.
  • Shine a light on nurses and midwives and their practice. We will commemorate Florence’s legacy and the impact she had on modern day nursing and midwifery.

Why we need your help...

Healthcare is complex and challenging and nurses and midwives – the largest group of caregivers – are at the forefront of these challenges. Today, we witness more nurses leaving than joining the profession.

In response, we have strengthened our commitment to invest in nurses and midwives to develop them as leaders, impact change and most importantly, ignite their love for the profession and do the very best for their patients.

Like Florence, patient care drives us and her legacy shines through in everything we do. We need your support to continue her legacy and to develop the nurses and midwives who care for you to reach their full potential.

So how can you help?

Sponsor a scholarship

In order for us to achieve our mission, we need support from our sponsors to be able to deliver scholarships and encourage our scholars to make a profound impact on patient care and healthcare policy at local, national and global levels.
