On Monday 9th November one of our scholars, Helen Brewah, was recognised for her work and became a Queen’s Nurse. The Foundation would like to offer their congratulations to Helen on her fantastic achievement!

A Queen’s Nurse is someone who is committed to high standards of practice and patient-centred care. The QNI supports innovation and best practice, in order to improve care for patients. They believe that one way to do this is to bring together Community Nurses who share common values with a shared title. The title is available to individual Nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to patient care and nursing practice.

Helen was honoured by Professor Viv Bennett, Director of Nursing at Public Health England.
